SOLUTION: MY SYSTEM IS DISPLAYING NO BOOTABLE DEVICE HIT ANY KEY.





So to begin off i am not exceptionally extraordinary with PCs so I don't know much about this issue yet through numerous endeavors i have not possessed the capacity to settle this. i have an Acer portable workstation with windows 8 and has been running fine since I got it.



Till one morning I woke up to boot my system it displayed no bootable device



When you try to boot your system it will display "no bootable device, Hit any key”. On a blue dialog box ‘’OK’’ in a black dialog box.

Step1
Press shift F2 to reboot (press f2 immediately rebooting)
While rebooting press f2 (it will take you to BIOS)

Step 2
On the menu tab here you will see:
         i.            Information
      ii.            Main
   iii.            Security
   iv.            Boot
      v.            Exit
Note: The direction is below click on boot.
You will see Boot mode   (UEFI)
Secure Boot:   (Enabled)
Select Boot mode and press enter button
A dialog box with blue background will display writing   UEFI                                                                                      Legacy BIOS
In this case select legacy BIOS and press enter

Step 3
A dialog box will display writing (the available boot device will not change until a rebooting!) on it
Select ‘’OK’’
It will take you back to boot mode
     
 Step 4
Press f10 (to save and Exit)
A dialog box will display (save configuration and exit now) click on yes.
Your system is back to life
