Amaechi, who was joined by the
national executive of his assembling, All Progressives Congress (APC), John
Odigie Oyegun, couldn't however submit to the supplication of the voyagers.
This happened when Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, was on an examination voyage through the train from Idu station to Jere station and back to Idu in status for the hailing off of the Abuja-Kaduna rail line come Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari. The explorers who were in their numbers incited the pastor to chop down the train entry from N600 to N500 for economy class with first class going for N900.

Considering their solicitation, he
decreased the train ticket from N600 for economy to N500. Talking at the Idu
station of the rail line in Abuja, he said: "we are set up to go. From the
things we have seen today (yesterday), we are set to go. This test run exercise
has been on for over a month. We said it was going to continue running for two
weeks yet we allowed it for six weeks with the objective that everybody can use
it." Amaechi had earlier proclaimed that the test ride of the rail develop
that started in June was powerful, in this way the long awaited Abuja-Kaduna
railroad will be presented on July 26 in Idu, Abuja.
